Let's live in a forest

This angel is Leticia Casta, probably most famous for being a Victoria Secret's model. She is my throwback crush. Leticia was born and raised in an "animal filled forest" in France. It just so happens that I want to live next to a forest...and I will someday. Our love of the forest could bring us closer together, maybe? She has an amazing body, so throwed in fact, that she was picked by all the perverted French mayors to be the representation of Marianne's effigy, the French Republic symbol. If she represents France then she probably is a mean french kisser too. It would be pretty sweet to have a sugar mama as well and Leticia has a 46 room mansion...she could help me pay for my rock and roll lifestyle. Since she enjoys dancing we could party all night in the French discos and wake up late and catch a matinee at the cinema. Ooh lala.

Oh, Maggie Q!

If you saw the latest installment of the Die Hard saga this summer then you undoubtedly saw this woman...but do you know who she is? Let me introduce you to Maggie Q, a Polish/Irish/Vietnamese beauty raised in Hawaii. She modeled early in her career, then blew up as an actress in Hong Kong...now playing small roles in American movies here and there. I wish I had more to say about her but I really didn't find anything worth mentioning. Now I am asking myself, "Can a crush be based on looks only?"
hmm...
yup.

Speak it to the FCC!

Prometheus Radio Project organizes for media justice by lobbying Congress, teaching radio workshops and supporting community groups in their pursuit of broadcast opportunities. Hannah Sassaman may or may not be sassing a man in this particular picture. She is testifying about taking back the airwaves in front of the Federal Communications Commission, not even trying to look like a sweetie working the desk at a fine arts library.

Speaking in front of the federal government at hearings, on national television with Bill Moyers or at yet another press conference, Hannah's presence mixes acute focus and subtle theatrics. She's near impossible to disagree with. She's not afraid to get her hands dirty, and she commands respect everywhere she goes. Could be 'cause she's fearless.

In 2004, Prometheus took the FCC to federal court, with help from public interest law firm Media Access Project. Hannah and a handful of other Philly-based media activists convinced the federal judges that the FCC's attempts to further deregulate American media were unjustified. More than half a million formal comments were filed in opposition to the FCC, a new record.

When Hannah is speaking, I'm listening. Damn, girl. You know you got it.
